When Audio-Technica joined us earlier in 2021, we were tasked with finding a variety of influencers, linked through their appreciation for the stellar audio quality, sleek design and accessibility of the brand’s products. By harnessing our relations with reliable and impactful influencer contacts, as well as utilising our comms skills to make new connections, we quickly formed a ‘collective’ of individuals who could communicate Audio-Technica’s message to their followers while remaining loyal to their own aesthetic.

In order to grow the Audio-Technica Collective, we have spent the past few months targeting a range of different content creators.
The first step was to approach micro-influencers who have an extremely high engagement rate and a rapidly-growing follower base. In this way, Audio-Technica is able to establish a strong connection with up-and-coming influencers early on in their careers, cementing a relationship which will harbour many future collaborations in the years to come.
We have also been targeting lifestyle influencers with a strong, engaged follower count and who boast a passion for music, style and fashion. With this group, we have reached out to offer Audio-Technica’s award-winning products such as the ANC-300TW earphones and the ANC-900BT headphones, giving the influencers creative license to produce beautiful artistic photography which can assimilate easily with their feeds.
To push the brand’s gaming and podcasting technology, including The Creator Pack and ATH-M50xBT headphones, we began reaching out to budding podcasters who already have an established following, as well as gaming influencers who have gained popularity not only on Instagram, but also Twitch.
With this social industry showing no sign of slowing down, it’s no surprise that over the last couple of years, influencer work has becoming increasingly central to our clients’ marketing strategies. As a result, our agency’s influencer portfolio is ever-expanding, meaning we have the means to roll-out a strong and effective social strategy to support whatever campaign is thrown our way.
